I have had a passion for computers since a very young age. I expressed this by spending hours in front of the computer screen and by the age of eight I could type faster than I wrote. As I evolved, my computer skills also evolved and after school I decided to study a Bachelor of Commerce in Informatics.

After completing my degree, I decided that the most logical thing to do was to get a job, so I did. I was hired as a junior lecturer at the University of Pretoria and I also did my honours degree while working. That year I bit off way more than what I could chew, I also did some freelance work and had an additional 20 hour a week job.

But I made it and came out better in the end.

After completing my Honours degree, I got a real job, developing software and online applications, here I had plenty of time to explore the web and research some of the most exciting technology available. This was where I decided that I want to build a carreer as web developer and designer. So as all thing is in life, achieving this was not easy, I had another job and then returned to the books.
